This accession consists of photographs taken by Cooby Greenway documenting the annual "Rite of Spring" event, held March 30-31, 1968 to celebrate the beginning of the Smithsonian Institution's summer hours, and the Festival of American Folklife, held in the summer of 1968. Greenway worked for the Division of Performing Arts.
