Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of "preview pages" for 30 mobile applications maintained by the Smithsonian Institution and made available for download via iTunes. The pages include information about the applications, technical requirements, and customer reviews. The applications range from tourist information to supplementary exhibition information to mobile versions of publications to interactive games and stories. All pages were crawled in December 2013. The mobile applications themselves are not included in this accession. Materials are in electronic format.
The name listed in parentheses is the Smithsonian Institution unit that was primarily responsible for developing the application and may be different from the publisher listed on the preview page (Smithsonian Institution in most cases).
