Website Records, 2009-2013
This accession consists of two websites and one blog maintained by the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI).
The main NMAI website, crawled on September 14, 2013, includes visitor, exhibitions, programmatic, and professional training information; educational resources; and membership and donation information.
The NMAI blog, crawled September 14, 2013, discusses museum events, exhibitions, activities, and objects as well as native American life. The first post was in April 2009.
The "Native Networks" website, available in both English and Spanish, was crawled on September 10, 2013, and includes information about film, video, and radio produced by indigenous peoples of the Americas and Hawaii. It also serves as the official website for the Native American Film + Video Festival organized by the NMAI Film and Video Center. The festival portion of the website includes information on programs and participants as well as press releases. The website was discontinued shortly after it was crawled and the content was incorporated into the main NMAI website.
