This accession consists of two blogs maintained by the National Museum of African Art (NMAfA), both crawled on May 7, 2013. "NMAfA and Ideal Academy Mural Partnership" documents progress on a 70-foot mural within Ideal Academy Public Charter School in Washington, District of Columbia. The NMAfA Education Department facilitated the mural project, working with students and teachers and creating curriculum connections. The blog was opened in January 2010 and has been inactive since July 2010. Posts consist primarily of images with minimal text."Studio Africa" documents an educational program of the same name. The Studio Africa Project serves District of Columbia Public Schools in connecting its students to African art and culture. The blog was opened in March 2011. Materials are in electronic format.
