This accession consists of the giant panda section of the National Zoological Park (NZP) website as it existed on August 23, 2013. This date coincides with the birth of a cub. The section includes information about NZP's giant pandas, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian, and their exhibit space as well as information about giant pandas in general. In addition, the section includes panda updates since July 9, 2005 (the birth date of Mei Xiang's first cub, Tai Shan). Red pandas are also included in the updates. Materials are in electronic format.
