Harrison Gray Dyar Field Books, 1882-1925
Close
PrintHarrison Gray Dyarss "Bluebooks" document his field work and rearing of insects. They include entries beginning in 1882 and continue through 1925. Numbering is generally consecutive throughout the notebooks. Some notebooks include notations and edits over several years. Several were partially used prior to Dyar's entries and include notes relating to household management. Notations in blue indicate that sections became part of published work. Hand-drawn illustrations and inserted notes are found throughout.
