Summary

This collection consists of Herbarium Files from the United States National Museum, Division of Plants, Ferns and Lichens Collection. The files include notes surrounding herbaria specimens, grouped by herbaria collection. Included are the John Gilbert Baker Herbarium (lichens), Walsh Herbarium (diatoms), Charles Russell Orcutt Herbarium (mosses and lichens), Henry Willey Herbarium, and Edward Tuckerman Herbarium (lichens). Materials also include correspondence, labels, and photographs.
