This accession consists of records which document major special events at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), such as the opening of the George Gustav Heye Center, exhibition receptions, and the National Powwow in 2005. Also covered are events and receptions related to the vernal equinox, festivals, and fundraising. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, programs and schedules, postcards, images, brochures, invitations, and clippings. Some materials are in electronic format.
