Summary

This collection consists of field books and specimen lists by William R. Maxon. These field books represent Maxon's field work collecting plant specimens in North and South America. One volume includes a list of plant collections made with Paul Carpenter Standley and another volume includes plant collections made with Ellsworth Paine Killip. Also included is one folder of determinations made by Maxon and others. Locations include the United States (including Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida), Jamaica, Cuba, Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. Materials also include a map.
