Summary

This collection consists of the field notes, plant lists, and correspondence of John Herman Sandberg related to specimens collected in Idaho, Montana, and Washington in 1892 and 1893. The collection contains 6 items including unbound materials (specimen lists and correspondence) and bound field journals. Correspondents include William M. Canby. Sandberg collected with John B. Leiberg. Two maps are located in the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), Department of Botany map collection cases. The two maps are: Route of John Herman Sandberg, Amos Arthur Heller, and Daniel Trembly McDougal, Idaho, 1892; and Route of John Herman Sandberg and John B. Leiberg, Washington, 1893.
