Summary

Margaret Sordahl was at one time stationed at the astrophysical observatory established by the Smithsonian Institution on Mount Brukkaros, in the Southwest African Protectorate. During that time she collected bird and mammal specimens that reside with the United States National Museum. Collecting was carried on as time and opportunity permitted on the mountain, along the Fish River and at Berseba. This field book documents her observations and collections of mammals.
