Summary

These papers created by Arthur de Carle Sowerby, document his collecting for the Sowerby-Clark Expedition to the Shansi and Kansu Provinces of Northern China, 1908-1910, and include a combination of hand-drawn maps, reports, field notes, catalogs, and news clippings. Sowerby was collecting mammal specimens across northern China and Mongolia (Ordos Desert, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Gansu). Materials indicate work completed with G. A. Grant and Adels Sowerby.
