This accession consists of records created and maintained by Debra Diamond, Curator of South and Southeast Asian Art, 2000- , documenting the development of exhibitions. Documented exhibitions include "Muraqqa': Imperial Mughal Albums from the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin;" "Himalayas: An Aesthetic Adventure;" "Tibetan Healing Mandala for Healing and Protection in the Aftermath of September 11th;" "Word Play: Contemporary Art by Xu Bing;" "Sensuous and the Sacred: Chola Bronzes from South India;" "Cai Guo-Qiang: 'Traveler: Reflection,'" "Dar al-Islam: Art, Life, and Cultures of the Islamic World" (cancelled); "Facing East: Portraits from Asia;" "Devi by Ravinder Reddy;" "Perspectives: Simryn Gill;" "Changing Tastes in 18th-20th Century Indian Art;" "Noble Path: Buddhist Art of Southeast Asia and Tibet;" "East of Eden: Gardens in Asian Art;" "Adventures of Hamza;" "Perspectives: Mei-ling Hom;" "Auto-Focus: Raghubir Singh's Way Into India;" "Perspectives: Do-Ho Suh;" "Kenro Izu: Sacred Sites Along the Silk Road;" and "Hiroshi Sugimoto: History of History." A small amount of records also document administrative activities. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, checklists, label copy, floor plans, architectural drawings, loan information, research files, brochures, educational programming materials, clippings, press releases, images, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format. Some materials were created by previous curators.
