National Museum of Natural History (U.S)
Website Records, 1999-2011
Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of records documenting the development of the Office of Academic Services website and supporting web applications, such as the National Museum of Natural History's Academic Portal and its institution-wide successor, the Smithsonian Online Academic Appointment System (SOLAA). Much of the website focuses on the Research Training Program, a summer program that allows undergraduate students the opportunity to perform research with museum scientists. Materials include memoranda, meeting materials, design documents, website printouts, notes, images, and files that were included in the website at various points in time. In addition, materials include the Office of Academic Services website as it existed on August 4, 2010. Some materials are in electronic format.
