Summary

This collection contains one field book containing a list of botanical specimens collected by Whitman Cross in Colorado from 10 July to 1 August 1901. Collector numbers 1-78 are included. Localities include Camp Creek, Virginia Gulch, and Vallecito (Needle Mountains, Colorado). Some genera of specimens collected include carex, salix, and erigeron. A note from the last page of the list states "Besides the above 7 sheets of heads of Castelleja - concerning wh. Mr. Coville gave directions as to mounting."
