Pictured is a small camp, including a pitched tent. Mountains are in the background. This image is part of a series of photographs taken during the Lincoln Ellsworth Expedition to Alberta and British Columbia in 1914, during which the Bureau of Biological Survey conducted field investigations in Canada to learn more about the habits and distribution of big game mammals. Naturalist Edmund Heller accompanied the expedition to the Dease River/Telegraph Creek area of British Columbia and later to Alberta.
