Summary

Dorothy Maud Wrinch (1894-1976), Mathematical Institute, Oxford University, was an English-American philosopher and mathematician known for her theoretical work on protein structure. In 1939, she came to work at Johns Hopkins University because her laboratory at Oxford had been taken over for other war work.
