Summary

Charlotte Thomas Striebel (b. 1929) had a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of California and was a research associate scientist at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, analyzing satellite tracking data and the reliability of the Polaris missile, when this photo was taken in 1962. Later, Striebel became professor of mathematics at the University of Minnesota.
