Left to right: Poet and author Maurice Maeterlinck (1862-1949), Mrs. Addison Webb, and Addison Webb (b. 1900). Maeterlinck (1862-1949) had written the famous work on The Life of the Bee in 1901, so this photograph was distributed as publicity for Webb's new book Beekeeping for Profit and Pleasure (Macmillan, 1943).
