This accession consists of records documenting architectural designs for the proposed National Air Museum (later the National Air and Space Museum) Building as well as for exhibitions and office spaces in both the National Air and Space Museum Building and the Arts and Industries Building. Materials include elevations, floor plans, concept drawings, details, and related architectural drawings. Also included are original sketches, text, and photographs for a history of space flight; original object labels; and an objective-based organizational chart.
