Summary

Johns Hopkins University protozoologist Herbert Spencer Jennings (1868-1947) and his wife. This is most likely his first wife, artist Mary Louise Burridge Jennings, who illustrated many of his publications. After her death, he married his brother's widow, Lulu Plant, in 1939.
