Summary

Unidentified woman and organic chemist Alfons Klemenc (b. 1885), photographed at the First International Congress of Soil Science, Washington, D.C., June 13-22, 1927, by Watson Davis. At the time, Klemenc was an assistant editor of the International Critical Tables of Numerical Data in Physics, Chemistry, and Technology. Could this woman be Elizabeth Ekl, with whom Klemenc co-authored scientific papers in 1918?
