Summary

This accession consists of the video, "Preserving the Past: The Archives Center at the National Museum of American History." Funded by the Smithsonian Instituion Women's Council, the video explores the collections of the Archives Center as well as discusses archives and archival practices. It was directed and produced by John R. Paulson, with editor Leon Cobb, and project coordinator Wendy Ann Shay. Featured in the 9:33 minute video are John A. Fleckner, Chief Archivist; Craig Orr; Deborah A. Richardson; David Haberstich; and Fath Davis Ruffins. Material consists of a VHS tape.
