Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of audiovisual materials documenting videos produced by the National Museum of Natural History, Office of Education. Videos were primarily created for exhibitions or for use in the classroom and include, "Lewis and Clark: On the Lolo Trail;" "Search for the Giant Squid;" "Under the Volcano: A Remote Sensing Expedition;" several electronic field trips; video projections; kiosk installations; and other video. Materials include final productions as well as camera footage for some productions and an intellectual property agreement for "Search for the Giant Squid." Videotape formats include VHS, Digital S, Betacam SP, 3/4" U-matic, and Hi-8 as well as several types of computer disks.
