Summary

Italian medical researcher Aldo Castellani (1875-1971) was an expert on tropical disease and sleeping sickness who was knighted by British government in 1928 and taught in U.S. in 1920s and 1930s. He was stripped of his knighthood in 1940 because of his support for Italian government.
