Summary

Clyde Lorrain Cowan (1919-1974) was a professor of physics at Catholic University, and co-discoverer of the neutrino with Frederick Reines, who received Nobel prize in 1996 for the discovery. The photo shows him reflected in mirror of the particle detector he built.
