Archeologist George Glenn Cameron (1905-1979) taught at University of Chicago, 1932-1948, and founded University of Michigan's Department of Near Eastern Studies. He is shown in a bookstore with stacks of They Wrote on Clay (1938), a book written by Edward Chiera and completed by Cameron after Chiera's death.
