In 1937, Moreau B. C. Chambers was an archeologist with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, using CCC money for his projects; he often worked with Smithsonian (USNM) ethnologist Henry Bascom Collins Jr., and later in his career, was archivist at Catholic University, Washington, D.C., 1967-1973.
