Donald C. Schmalberger was then an Assistant Professor of Astronomy, University of Rochester; astronomer Gerald Maurice Clemance (1908-1974) was then Senior Research Associate at Yale University. They were shown standing in front of 24" reflecting telescope at the Mees Observatory, University of Rochester, on occasion of its dedication, May 1965.
