Summary

Hobert Cutler Dickinson (1875-1949) and Ferdinand Graft Brickwedde (1903-1989) worked in the Division of Heat and Power at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards, where in 1931 they were in charge of the Cryogenics Lab. Dickinson spent forty years at U.S. National Bureau of Standards, 1905-1945, and was succeeded as division chief by Brickwedde in 1946.
