Summary

Robert Chambers (1881-1957) was at Cornell University Medical College, 1915-1928, and Washington Square College, 1928-1947, and was inventor of the Chambers micromanipulator. Hungarian-born anatomist George Stephen de Renyi (1892-1945) was an expert on the microscopic anatomy of the cell and a professor at University of Pennsylvania, 1926-1945.
