Russian Konstantin Dmitrievich Glinka (1867-1927) was Director of Agricultural College of Leningrad and Experimental Station, and the first director of the Dokuchaev Soil Science Institute. This photograph was taken when he was attending the First International Congress of Soil Science, Washington, D.C.
