Summary

Romanian Alexandru Borza (1887-1971) was a Professor of Botany, University of Cluj, Romania. In 1923, he founded the Cluj Botanical Garden (now named for him, with statue of him), and in 1935, helped to found Retezat National Park, Romania's first nature park.
