Psychologist Walter Van Dyke Bingham (1880-1952) worked with the U.S. Army on military intelligence testing in both World Wars I and II; he was on the faculty of Carnegie Institute of Technology, 1915-1924, and then became director of the commercial firm, Personnel Research Federation, 1924-1934.
