Summary

Maurice Alpheus Bigelow (1872-1955) was professor of biology, and director of Institute of Practical Science Research, Teachers College, Columbia University, 1899-1939. A prominent speaker on sex education and officer of the American Social Hygiene Association (ASHA), he was founder and editor of Nature Study Review, 1905-1910, and founder and secretary of American Nature Study Society, 1908-1910.
