Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of visitor survey records which document feedback by visitors to the National Museum of the American Indian, George Gustav Heye Center. The surveys were conducted by the Education Department and cover comments regarding exhibitions, the Expressive Culture Series programs, and other aspects of the visitors' experience. Also included is a visitor comment book for the exhibition, Pathways to Tradition: Indian Insights into Indian Worlds as well as planning documents for the exhibition, Ancestral Memories: A Tribute to Native American Survival and the architectural program, "The Way of the People" which guided the design and construction of National Museum of the American Indian buildings. Materials include completed visitor survey forms, visitor comment books, and planning documents.
