Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes documenting exhibition planning, donor policy, collections, external relations, fund raising, and professional activities; meeting agendas and minutes; information about NMAH reorganization, staff appointments, and retreats; NMAH visitor comment forms; the correspondence and memoranda of Joyce Ramey, Special Assistant to the Associate Director of Curatorial Affairs; videotapes; and budget summaries. Also included is a significant amount of records pertaining to the Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation grant for the proposed NMAH exhibition, "The Spirit of America."
