IUCN/SSC Declining Amphibian Populations Task Force
The Declining Amphibian Populations Task Force (DAPTF) was established under the sponsorship of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Species Survival Commission (SSC) around 1990. It is a volunteer collaborative group that focuses on the question of frog species survival. One of the functions of the DAPTF is to assemble all known references to inventory and monitoring efforts on amphibians on a worldwide scale.
The records include correspondence, project files, meeting minutes, grant files, symposia records, Board meeting materials and records documenting Board activities, and new articles. Materials document the tenures of Chairs James Hanken and W. Ronald Heyer.
