This accession consists of a reference copy set of the following publications: "Do All Indians Live in Tipis?: Questions and Answers from the National Museum of the American Indian," which debunks common myths and answers the most frequently asked questions about Native Americans past and present; "Remix: New Modernities in a Post-Indian World," which accompanied an exhibition of the same name that brought together 15 artists of mixed Native/non-Native background from the United States, Canada, and Mexico to create an illustrated guide to the here and now in contemporary Native art; and "Pulling Down the Clouds," a compact disc of recordings of Native writers reading excerpts from their works to audiences at the National Museum of the American Indian. Some materials are in electronic format.
