This accession consists of newspaper and magazine clippings documenting the care of animals at the National Zoological Park, especially the hand-rearing of baby animals. Animals represented in these articles include white tigers, pandas, elephants, and gorillas. Also included is an abbreviated history of the Holt House, an early 19th century building purchased by the National Zoological Park in 1889. Materials include clippings and a printed email.
