This accession consists of records documenting outgoing loans for artwork from the collections of the National Portrait Gallery. The files are arranged alphabetically by institution. Also included are files for dropped or denied loans. Materials include object lists, correspondence, loan agreements, facilities reports, memoranda, insurance valuations, condition reports, label copy, shipping and receiving, notes, clippings, floor plans, black-and-white transparencies and photographs, and other related records.
