This accession consists of a reference set of 'Educator's Guide," formerly known as Resource Guide for Teachers (1989-1998) and "Resource Guide for Educators" (1999-2001), issued by the Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies (SCEMS). Earlier publications dating back to when SCEMS was known as the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) and the Smithsonian Office of Education (SOE), respectively. Also consists of special issue guides in regard to interdisciplinary learning, field trips, intern orientation, and public relations. Materials include publications.
