This accession consists of records created and maintained by Wilton Dillon, Director, documenting the planning and execution of symposia and seminars sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution. Symposia and seminars documented in this accession include "D. C. Research Seminar on Popular Culture," "Kin and Communities: The Peopling of America," and "The United States in the World."
