This accession consists of records documenting the establishment and administration of the National Postal Museum. Materials predating 1990 were created by the National Museum of American History, National Philatelic Collection. Materials include agreements with the United States Postal Service, reproduction permissions from oral history interviewees, exhibition and other public program proposals, planning documents, budget materials, memoranda, briefing materials, and construction information.
