This accession consists of records that document exhibition planning and production, and curatorial publishing activities during the tenures of Deputy Directors Charles J. Robertson (1986-2001) and Rachel M. Allen (2002- ). Some materials date to when the museum was known as the National Museum of American Art. Materials include budgets, proposals, financial and funding records, checklists, agreements, publicity material, correspondence, memoranda, notes, loan forms, slides, and contracts.
