Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of exhibition records created by Spencer R. Crew during his tenure as curator in the Division of Community Life, and later, as Director of the National Museum of American History. The records document planning for the exhibitions Field to Factory: Afro-American Migration, 1915-1940 and Go Forth and Serve: Black Land Grant Colleges. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; exhibition proposals, schedules, scripts, floor plans, and catalogs; reports; budget summaries; newsletters; photographs, slides, and negatives; grant and loan information; and object lists.
