This accession consists of records that document the graduate training seminar program "Interpreting Latino Cultures: Research and Museums," which is sponsored each year by the Smithsonian Institution and The Inter-University Program for Latino Research (SI/IUP). The program is designed to support the career development of Latino/a graduate students in the United States by exposing them to research and career opportunities in museums and other public oriented institutions. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; planning information; course agendas; budget summaries; faculty and student participant lists; evaluation forms; and reports.
