Summary

As part of the 1946 celebration of the Smithsonian Centennial, the National Geographic Society prepared the film, "Uncovering Mexico's Forgotten Treasures," from a lecture by Matthew and Marion Stirling in Constitution Hall. The film documents their archeological work in Mexico supported by the Bureau of American Ethnology and the National Geographic Society. Materials include two videotapes: a 3/4" U-Matic copy of master videotape copy of 16mm color film; and a 1/2" VHS copy of 3/4" U-Matic copy.
