These records consists of acetate negatives created by Waldo L. Schmitt and document his work in invertebrate zoology as well as his research while on the Bredin-Smithsonian Carribbean Expeditions.

Descriptive Entry

Waldo L. Schmitt's primary field of zoological investigation was carcinology, with special emphasis on the decapod crustaceans (the order that includes crabs, lobsters, and shrimp). This accession consists of acetate negatives of persons, specimens and documents.
