The bulk of these records consist of Holman J. (Jerry) Swinney's appointment books, and newspaper clippings collected by him and his wife. The newspaper clippings range from a photograph of a youthful Swinney participating in a gun show in 1941 through his later work at the Rochester Museum and Science Center in 1984. The records also contain correspondence, brochures, publicity materials, and newsletters documenting highlights in Swinney's career. Also included is a file of documents assembled during Swinney's presidency of the Northeast Museums Conference in 1976-1977, such as memoranda, budgetary and accounting statements, planning documents, meeting agendas, and correspondence.
